  • All lectures plus cadaveric hands on hip arthroscopy basic workshop: INR 12,000/-
  • All lectures plus cadaveric demonstration (not hands-on) of open hip procedures: INR 4,000/-
Course Highlights The course will be conducted in two modules:

  • The morning session will have lectures which will include hip assessment, imaging, injection techniques, FAI, basics of hip arthroscopy and many other common hip problems. This session will be common to all delegates.
  • The post lunch session will be divided into two groups:
  • Hip arthroscopy group: The delegates will be taught the basics of setting up for a hip arthroscopy and the portals for peripheral and central compartments. They will be able to practice these techniques on the cadaver in a hands-on fashion
    (Registration fee: INR 12,000).
  • Open hip surgery group: These delegates will have a cadaveric demonstration (not hands-on) of common yet less used open hip preserving surgeries such as safe surgical hip dislocations.
    (Registration fee: INR 4,000).
Course Objectives This course is intended to be an overview of the current state of the art scenario for adult hip problems which can be addressed with a hip preserving procedures.
