Course Objectives To provide a balanced, unbiased overview of orthopaedic implants and inventory. The course is not about diagnosis-management, surgical approaches or techniques. The course is about;

  • Listing basic instruments needed for various surgeries and knowing why some are preferred over others.
  • Understanding the nuances of local and imported implants (comparing apples with apples).

Delegates should be able to use the knowledge gained during the course to;

  • Buy instruments that are essential, worthwhile and cost-effective.
  • Select and use implants in a prudent manner on a case-to-case basis.
