Course Highlights
  • Introduces the JESS System and its versatile uses. Teaches delegates the techniques for use of JESS fixators in various clinical conditions like hand Injuries, trauma of the upper and lower limb, acquired deformities – congenital, burns, and post trauma, congenital deformities like CTEV, genu valgum, cubitus varus, coxa vara etc.
  • Training covers lectures, operative sessions, demonstrative workshops. JESS is a simple technique which is advantageous to many candidates especially those dealing with basic orthopaedic problems at all levels. It is a viable treatment option for a patient population which has osteoporotic bones and comminuted fractures. It is particularly useful to surgeons who work under constraints especially those in rural areas. Versatility ranges from its use as a temporary / definitive fixation device in fractures with soft tissue and vascular injuries to its use in definitive correction of acquired limb deformities and congenital malformations.
Course Objectives Active hands-on experience on patients every day as well as workshops. Delegates will be actively assisting the operating surgeon. Delegates will be able to use the JESS system in their practice of orthopaedics with confidence and understanding immediately after the course.
