Course Highlights
  • Introduces the JESS System and its versatile uses.
  • Teaches delegates the techniques for use of JESS fixators in various clinical conditions like – Hand Injuries, Trauma of the upper and lower limb, Acquired Deformities – congenital, burns and post trauma, Congenital Deformities like CTEV, Genu Valgum, Cubitus Varus, Coxa Vara etc. Training covers lectures, operative sessions and demonstrative workshops.
  • JESS is a simple technique which is advantageous to many candidates especially those dealing with basic orthopaedic problems at all levels.
  • It is a viable treatment option for a patient population which has osteoporotic bones and comminuted fractures. It is particularly useful to surgeons who work under constraints especially those in rural areas.
  • Versatility ranges from its use as a temporary / definitive fixation device in fractures with soft tissue and vascular injuries to its use in definitive correction of acquired limb deformities and congenital malformations.

  • Active hands on experience on patients every day as well as workshops. Delegates will be actively assisting the Operating surgeon.
