  • Cadaveric workshop on fresh frozen cadavers with hands-on learning of the posterior, anterior approaches such as Kocker Lagenbeck, Ilio-inguinal, Ilio-femoral, Sub-inguinal, Stoppa’s approach, Ganz osteotomy with Safe surgical dislocation of the head.
  • Saw bone workshop to learn column screw, external fixation of the pelvis, ilio-sacral screws, posterior column plating and acetabular wall fixation.

  • Day 1: Imaging workshop, lectures on basics of acetabular fracture and management of simple fracture patterns, saw bone workshop, instrumentation workshop
  • Day2: Live surgery, management of complex acetabular and pelvic fracture patterns, saw bone workshop, panel discussion, prevention and management of complications of pelviacetabular fractures
  • Day 3: Hands-on cadaveric dissection
