Course Highlights A one day, hands-on workshop on fresh cadavers with tutorials, lectures and demonstrations. Faculty includes a mix of orthopods, hand surgeons and plastic surgeons with interactive sessions during the demonstration surgeries.
Course Objectives
  • Teach techniques and dissection to young orthopaedic trainee
  • Refresh the knowledge of common and difficult surgical approaches of practising orthopaedic surgeons
  • To provide knowledge of orthopaedic anatomy
  • This course is planned to extent the horizon of orthopaedic surgeon for performing difficult orthopaedic surgeries even at individual and primary level
  • The newer approaches are also included to allow access to most of bones and joints
  • Course is to design having more hands on experience and less lecture
  • Eminent faculty will train and share their experience so that complications of approaches are avoided after doing the course
  • One day course will bring more dissection skill of proper handling of soft tissue and neurovascular structures
  • Newer approaches to perform operation around hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle and spine
  • Approaches are meant to perform on simple trauma and difficult surgeries, tumors, joint stiffness and replacement arthrolysis
  • This will built up on previous knowledge of the surgery
